Mission Statement
The Salvation
Army, an international movement, is an evangelical part of the universal
Christian Church. Its message is based on the Bible; Its ministry
is motivated by the love for God. Its mission is to preach the gospel
of Jesus Christ and meet human needs in HIS name without discrimination.
Our
Local Mission
The Salvation
Army is a spiritual community that fosters improved self-sufficiency
and leads by example. We promote the well-being of all who come
to us, including those who are unable to meet their basic needs
of be self sufficient. We coordinate a comprehensive array of emergency
services to meet basic needs (food, shelter, clothing, and spiritual)
and other support services as our resources allow. It is our commitment
to direct those in need to the most appropriate program or service
available, whether offered by The Salvation Army or another agency
or provider. |
