| The Salvation
Army provides activities and learning opportunities for young
people throughout the year.
The gym at The Salvation Army Corps Community
Center provides a place for active sports and recreation activities,
including volleyball, basketball and other games. Adult volleyball
and basketball leagues play regularly. Youth gym activities
are scheduled Monday - Friday during the school year. The
gym is also used for special events and is available for rental.
The Corps Community Center computer lab gives
individuals the opportunity to learn computer skills when
they might otherwise not have access to a personal computer.
The lab, which was funded in part by The Salvation Army Women’s
Auxiliary, now includes 14 personal computers. An instructor
from Northeast Wisconsin Technical College comes to the lab
several times a week to teach computer skills.
