Citizens Bank to Match Red Kettle Donations in Brown County on Saturday December 15

For Immediate Release
December 13, 2012
(Green Bay, WI) –Citizens Bank will match all Red Kettle donations throughout Brown County on Saturday, December 15, 2012. The match by Citizens Bank, up to $1,200, will help The Salvation Army of Brown County reach its 2012 Red Kettle Campaign Goal of $1.2 million.

“The Salvation Army does so much for so many and we hope that our charitable match will encourage others to donate,” said John Walch, commercial relationship manager for Citizens Bank. “We are fortunate to have organizations such as this that provide assistance to those in need.”

Community donations during the Red Kettle campaign are a way in which The Salvation Army of Brown County raises the majority of its funds to support its mission and programs throughout the upcoming year.
“This will provide a much needed boost to the Red Kettle campaign,” said Captain Ken Shiels, county coordinator for The Salvation Army Brown County. “We only have a few weeks to raise much needed funds through the Red Kettles, so this match comes at a crucial time.”

Funds raised through the Annual Red Kettle Campaign support social service programs of The Salvation Army of Brown County throughout the year. Monies may be placed in any of the 57 Red Kettles throughout Brown County.
