For Immediate Release December 12, 2012

(Green Bay, WI) – The Salvation Army of Brown County will host a free Christmas luncheon through the noon feeding program on Friday, December 14, 2012, beginning at 11:30 a.m-12:30 p.m. at the Union Court Community Corps, 626 Union Court, Green Bay, WI.

The meal, sponsored by Schreiber Foods, expects to serve over 200 community members. Schreiber employees volunteer, decorate, and provide cheese gifts to all participants. There is no charge for the meal which includes ham, scalloped potatoes, green beans, spiced apple rings, and dessert.

“This wonderful, annual, event is only made possible by a generous donation of Schreiber Foods and their employees,” said Captain Ken Shiels, county coordinator for The Salvation Army of Brown County. “This can be a tough time of year for many people economically and socially. By gathering together for a special Christmas Lunch many spirits can be brightened.”
